- Job Summary:
You will serve as a Program Analyst within the Unmanned Maritime Systems Program Office (PMS 406) of Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants and will support the development, acquisition, fielding and support of the Navy's Unmanned Maritime Systems, which includes multiple Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUVs) such as Knifefish (Surface Mine Countermeasures UUV), and the Large Displacement UUV (LDUUV), along with multiple Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) such as the Unmanned Influence Sweep System (UISS), development and integration of various payloads onto Common USVs, and Minehunting USVs (MHUs). Responsible for individual system integration into Fleet assets including the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) as part of Mission Packages, expeditionary surface ships, Submarine systems, or for pier launch.

- Duties and Responsibilities :
The incumbent should have knowledge of experience with the following major duties as they relate to supporting the leadership (Program Manager, Principal Assistant Program Manager, Assistant Program Manager) of a Surface or Undersea Autonomous Maritime System Acquisition Program:
- Serve as management advisor, applying discernment and judgment to address a wide variety of interrelated subject matter, that can include financial, contractual, programmatic, or other program office focus areas, requiring specialized ability to correlate and corroborate information into reports and records.
- Execute program plans to achieve milestones and requirements for the full scope of activities associated with acquisition issues. Ensures program schedules are met within workforce and fiscal resources.
- Provide or participate in the formulation of plans for the cost, performance, schedule of diverse teams and acquisition efforts within the scope of assigned areas; exercises significant judgment and experience to establish priorities.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate projects concerning the development, installation, integration, and testing, relative to the acquisition process.
- Brief senior leadership and makes recommendations based on findings.
- Prepare coordinated reports, presentations and briefings in support of program actions.
- Analyze requirements to develop program reporting including the specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and evaluation methodology.
- Lead or participate in studies, surveys, reviews, and/or research projects to evaluate program accomplishments, effectiveness, and/or compliance with meeting specific goals, objectives, rules, and regulations.
- Develop or contribute to evaluation plans, metrics, procedures, and methodology as a result of studies performed.
- Coordinate and contribute to digital service software development in cross-functional teams to include developing, testing and deploying services in a modern cloud-based environment.
- Lead and participate in building secure environments that leverage infrastructure-as-code, DevSecOps tools and practices, and other modern design patterns to meet critical customer and business partner mission needs.
- Serve as a Subject Expert Matter (SME) panel member for technical evaluation for procurements.
- Provide extensive expertise with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automated provisioning of computing resources, including but not limited to: YAML, TerraForm, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Bicep.
- Leverage best practices in DevSecOps to configure, integrate, containerize, orchestrate, and harden open source, web, and cloud-based services, tools, and other computational resources using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Practice agile software methodologies across all development projects.
- Consistently create tests and documentation for software work products.
- Provide expertise with common software development tools such as Git, Eclipse, Jenkins, and Visual Studio Code.
- Develop architectural strategy and providing subject matter expert guidance in DevSecOps, continuous integration, and middleware technologies.

- Assisting with the accomplishment of program objectives for development, production, and sustainment to meet the operational needs within cost, schedule, and performance constraints of a Surface or Undersea or Autonomous Maritime Systems’ Acquisition Program.
